Vector Optics Frenzy-X FLEX 19x28 GenII Red Dot Sight
The Vector Optics Frenzy-X FLEX 19x28 GenII Red Dot Sight is a lightweight, competition-orientated open reflex sight combining a generous viewing window with a crisp 3 MOA red dot.
Designed for fast target acquisition while maintaining a precise aiming point, the SCRD-64 is particularly well suited to setups where speed, low weight and an unrestricted sight picture are priorities.
At the heart of the Frenzy-X FLEX is a large 19x28mm aspheric lens, designed to minimise optical aberration and image distortion. This provides a clear, natural view through the optic while the open-frame design makes the illuminated dot quick and easy to acquire.
3 MOA Red Dot
The 3 MOA red dot offers an excellent balance between precision and rapid acquisition. It remains small enough for accurate aiming while being clearly visible for fast transitions between targets.
The sight provides 11 illumination settings, consisting of:
9 daylight brightness levels
2 night-vision-compatible settings
This wide adjustment range allows the dot brightness to be matched to different ambient lighting conditions.
Large 19x28mm Aspheric Lens
Vector Optics uses an aspheric lens in the Frenzy-X GenII to minimise aberration and help provide a distortion-free sight picture.
The generous 19x28mm window provides an open field of view and makes finding the dot easier during rapid movement and target transitions.
The sight is also parallax free, with a factory parallax setting of 50 yards.
Motion Sensor Activation
An integrated motion sensor automatically activates the sight when movement is detected, helping ensure the red dot is ready when required while conserving battery power during periods of inactivity.
Combined with a manufacturer-rated battery life of up to 5000 hours, this makes the Frenzy-X particularly convenient for regular use.
Side-Loading CR2032 Battery
The SCRD-64 is powered by a commonly available CR2032 battery.
A major advantage of the GenII design is the side-loading battery tray, allowing the battery to be changed without removing the red dot from its mounting position. This helps avoid disturbing the optic or losing zero simply to replace the battery.
Lightweight 7075-T6 Aluminium Construction
Despite weighing just 39.5g / 1.39oz without the mount, the Frenzy-X FLEX features a rugged 7075-T6 aluminium alloy housing.
Vector Optics rates the sight as 1000G shockproof and IPX7 waterproof, meaning it is designed to withstand immersion in up to one metre of water for 30 minutes.
MOJ Footprint & Weaver Mount
The Frenzy-X FLEX uses Vector Optics' MOJ footprint and is supplied with a Weaver mounting base, allowing it to be installed on compatible rail-equipped platforms straight from the box.
Windage and elevation are adjustable in 1 MOA clicks, with more than 45 MOA of adjustment available in each direction.
