Nordik Barrborn Crow Caller 2-Pack
The Nordik Barrborn Crow Caller 2-Pack is a versatile game-calling set containing two specially developed manual crow calls – the Nordik Barrborn Basic Crow and Nordik Barrborn Pro Crow.
Designed by Roger Barrborn in cooperation with Nordik Predator, the two callers are intended to complement each other, allowing the user to reproduce a wide variety of realistic crow vocalisations ranging from softer contact sounds through to more aggressive and attention-grabbing calls.
Two Different Crow Calls in One Set
Rather than relying on a single caller to produce every type of sound, the Barrborn 2-Pack provides two purpose-designed calls with different characteristics.
Nordik Barrborn Basic Crow
The Basic caller is designed to reproduce the softer, calmer sounds used by crows to communicate that an area is safe. These natural contact-style calls provide a useful starting point when attempting to attract the attention of nearby birds.
Nordik Barrborn Pro Crow
The Pro caller produces a more aggressive series of crow sounds designed to attract, irritate and provoke a response from other crows.
Use the Two Calls Together
Nordik Predator recommends combining the Basic and Pro callers to create a duet of different crow vocalisations.
Alternating between the softer sounds of the Basic caller and the stronger, more aggressive sounds produced by the Pro allows a more varied calling sequence to be created.
Wide Range of Adjustable Sounds
Both Barrborn calls are designed to be easy to operate while providing plenty of control over the resulting sound.
Once the basic crow tone has been mastered, different vocalisations can be created by varying pressure on the mouthpiece with your fingers or teeth.
Cupping a hand around the sound chamber and opening or closing it can provide additional control over the tone, allowing the user to produce a broad range of crow sounds from the two callers.
