I have been very impressed with the Cybergun Bada Bang Bluetooth Interactive Target System. I purchased mine from Bullseye Country Sport, and the price was the best I had found when looking around.

Straight out of the box, the first thing that impressed me was how solid and robust the target system feels. It does not feel flimsy or cheaply made, and the overall construction gives me confidence that it should stand up well to regular use. The targets themselves respond very well when hit, and the interactive shooting experience makes normal target practice much more engaging.

So far, I have tested the system using 6mm airsoft equipment. I used an AEG rifle firing 0.25g BBs at approximately 10 metres, and I also tested it with my Cybergun 1911 Railgun CO2 6mm airsoft pistol.

With the rifle at around 10 metres, the system performed very well. With the CO2 pistol, however, I found that at approximately 8 metres the targets did not always register every hit, even when I could see that I had struck the target. Moving closer to around 5 metres made a noticeable difference, and at that distance the targets registered the hits much more reliably. Based on my testing, I would therefore say that around 5 metres works best with my 6mm airsoft pistol, although performance will obviously depend on the particular airsoft gun, power level and ammunition being used.

The Bluetooth app is another strong point. It works well and gives you several different shooting modes, which makes the system far more interesting than simply shooting at static targets. It adds a proper interactive element and makes the Bada Bang useful for practising reaction time, accuracy and target transitions.

One improvement I would really like to see in the app would be a fully customisable mode. It would be great to be able to create your own training setup by choosing different target sequences, timings, modes and shooting distances. That would give users much more control over how they want to practise and would make an already good system even more versatile.

Overall, though, this is a fantastic interactive target system. The build quality is excellent, the targets are solid and responsive, the app adds a lot to the experience, and the price from Bullseye Country Sport was extremely competitive.

Apart from the occasional failure to register hits from my 6mm CO2 pistol at longer distances, I have been extremely pleased with it. At around 5 metres with the pistol, and approximately 10 metres with my AEG rifle firing 0.25g BBs, I have found it to be an excellent shooting and training setup.

For anyone wanting something more engaging than ordinary paper or static targets for airsoft practice, I would definitely recommend the Cybergun Bada Bang. It is a very impressive system straight out of the box and provides an enjoyable and useful training experience.
