This is simultaneously my best and worst air gun target! How so? Because shooting the white metal plates actually off the target, is strange, primal, good fun. Picking the plates up and putting them back on again, is no trouble at all when you’re getting that much satisfaction.

But also worst because, although it puts a huge grin on your face and makes you chuckle, the different tones of the ricochets flying off in all directions, is at least theoretically very concerning!

I was using a low powered, CO2, semi-automatic, air pistol, with iron sights, unsupported, and wadcutter lead pellets, which probably accounts for the dubious accuracy, especially as it was the 1st time I’d used that gun in many years.

So I would strongly recommend this brilliant target. But not for newbies shooting such guns in such a way in small areas like most back gardens! It should be absolutely fine if a pistol is practiced with more, or supported. Ditto if used with an air rifle. I’ve been told by an airsoft fanatic that the ricochets from an airsoft gun should be less of a hazard, but we will see!

If you love the sound of ricochet, are wearing safety specs, and have plenty of space, this is the one 😆
