Bite Alarms

A bite alarm can be a very important part of coarse fishing, especially against bigger fish. That's because the fish is able to stay calm when it is hooked and can even spit out the hook. The bite alarm gives you crucial indicators by beeping, along with the movement of the bobbin.

When using your bite alarm you need another sort of indicator or sign, this is either a bobbin or a swinger, and it neatly clips on to your line between your bite alarm and reel. Once the rods and bite alarms have been set up, anglers need to resist the urge to strike at the odd bleeps. A steady alarm sound combined with your bobbins moving up and down will indicate a fish is on.
